Product Manager-R853948
About Us
The Security Systems Unit (SSU) is tasked with delivering measurable, customer-relevant security systems to the market that tightly link Cisco technology together and also with key third-parties. The Security 3.0 team within SSU will be tasked with two things: First, to bring to market an enterprise security architecture that addresses near-term gaps in our current product offerings through partnerships. Second, to develop and execute on a multi-year security systems roadmap that seeks to link application, network, data, and physical security attributes into a variety of security systems from Cisco and its partners.
About this Job
We are looking for an experienced product manager to help us build the next generation of system-based linkages between our products and those of our key partners. Your job will be to engage with the field and customers to identify the right systems to focus on, define the roadmap for those systems, lead cross-functional teams inside and outside Cisco to build these systems, and finally to create the right go-to-market strategy.
The Security Systems Unit is at the forefront of Cisco's new systems-development focus. Rather than owning a single product you will be tasked with collaboratively defining an entire system comprising products, technologies, and third-party integrations. You will be measured on the revenue contributions your systems deliver, much in the same way a classic product manager is measured on their product's revenue. You will have an opportunity to analyze the market and interact with key third-parties that may fit into a given system. Working with business development you will define the sales engagement model with these partners and ensure Cisco's partner integrations delivers clear customer value.
Responsibilities
* Analyze customer and field feedback for systems opportunities
* Lead cross-functional teams executing on systems development goals
* Define and launch security systems
* Own both short and long-term systems roadmaps
* Represent Cisco and our security systems to internal/external organizations, customers, field, and press
* Analyze and report on systems success
Qualifications
* 4+ years of product management experience
* Experience leading cross-functional teams
* High energy; willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
* Great project-management skills

* Experience leading cross-functional teams
* High energy; willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
* Great project-management skills
* Excellent written communication and presentation skills
* Quantitative analytical abilities
* Strong organizational skills
* Excellent technical skills
