The position reports in to Small Business Technology Group - the focus of SBTG targets companies with less than 100 employees, full throttle to new market. SBTG is a Business within a business – team works as a startup leveraging the strengths of Cisco while working closely aligned with all functions in the small business market - Marketing, Sales, customer advocacy, and Manufacturing. Targeting aggressive growth in the Small Business Market adjacency. Small team focused on action and delivering results. High priority market. Cloud and SaaS are disruptive market trends, this position will put the candidate at the leading edge of a new frontier in a growth market.
Position Responsibilities:
Create a compelling customer and partner experience that differentiates Cisco from the broader market
Define and deliver cloud applications and customer experience including User Interface Drive product definition and product marketing activities to deliver on our cloud services strategy for the small business market.
Define new product roadmap for the customer and partner experience. Partner with other Cisco teams and 3rd parties.
Responsible for market -making success as measured by overall growth, positioning, volume and dollar shipments, margins, and market share. Marketing activities primarily focused on strategy, program management and coordination, and content review.
Identifies and gains resource commitments from internal and external suppliers, partners, and customers.
Makes final decisions to ensure effective achievement of objectives. Insures positive working relationship with and coordination across technology groups(s), the field, channels, customer advocacy, and marketing.
Define and deliver cloud applications and customer experience including User Interface
Experience
Proven experience driving Creative usability, and market leading experience portals
Companies with web based background in channel friendly models.
Prior experience at Apple, Yahoo, Google, Microsoft, intuit, HP welcome
Design experience around user experience and web design - User Centric design expertise
Complete understanding of and experience in applying all elements of complete life-cycle marketing, including launch, transition, and end-of-life, through channels, using advertising, direct marketing, promotions, and seminars. Strong people management skills.
Ability to generate interest and excitement across a cross-functional team, gain consensus among other managers and drive measurable progress
